The 4th YFIFF Results

Posted by The YFIFF on November 27, 2012 at 10:45 AM Comments comments (0)

The 4th YFIFF went off a treat this year with returning guest and YFP brother, Mike Leeder attending, along with the legendary Albert Pyun (director of Cyborg, Captain America, Road To Hell) and his producer/writer partner Cynthia Curnan.

.

Over the course of the weekend, we were are graced with directors cut of Alberts films and fantastic Q&A sessions with them all that gave all who was there, a great insight to each of their works and the industry.

.

Ending the festival was the usual run of awards (full list of winners on the YFIFF website above) and the world premiere of SPLASH AREA, our very own new feature. The place was packed out and the response was electric!!

.

A huge thank you to all involved in the weekend and the film, and be sure to check out the official YFIFF site for more information...

Hey folks,

..

as indie film makers ourselves, we understand it is hard to continue to fund your project for promotion and festivals on a budget. That goes for the YFIFF also, and you help support the festival and its team when you submit a film.

..

As much as we would like to run it submission free, we have opted for the next best thing and brough it into one cost for any film - short, feature, whatever!

..

Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing your work soon...

..
